Privacy Policy

This website is run by Once Upon a Time in America Museum, 6746 East Highway 89, Kanab, UT 84741. This policy explains what information we collect through onceuponatimeinamericamuseum.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Buying tickets. Online ticket payments are handled by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe sends us your name, email address, the tickets you bought, the amount paid, and the visit date you chose, and we keep a record of the order so we can honor your tickets and email your confirmation.

Event and group inquiries. When you fill out the private event or group visit form, we receive what you enter: your name, organization, email address, phone number, and the details of your event or visit. These are sent by email to our staff so we can reply.

Like most websites, ours automatically receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar tools described below.

Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular and whether an inquiry form was sent. It uses cookies (for example, _ga) to count visits.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram) help us measure whether our ads lead to visits, inquiries, and ticket sales, and show our ads to people likely to be interested. The pixel uses cookies (_fbp and _fbc). When you buy tickets, we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address, along with your IP address, browser information, and the order total, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. We do not send Meta the contents of inquiry forms.

We do not sell your personal information.

Some pages include content from other sites. Our Visit page shows a Google Maps map, which Google may use to collect information under its own privacy policy. Videos on our homepage and Videos page show a preview image and only load from YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play.

We share information only with companies that help us run the website and our business: Stripe (payments), Supabase (order records), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), Google (analytics and maps), and Meta (advertising measurement). We may also share information if required by law.

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• You can control how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
• You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. Some records, such as completed orders, may need to be kept for accounting or legal reasons.

We keep order records and inquiry emails for as long as we need them to serve you and for our business, accounting, and legal purposes.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
